About TLVC

Jenna Edelman, née Dykstra, has volleyball in her blood. She is the eldest of five siblings, all of whom played Division 1 college volleyball in successful programs such as UCLA, USC, Nebraska, Penn State, and Pepperdine. Jenna played at Davidson College from 2003 to 2006, where she broke and continues to hold the school record for career assists. Additionally, she holds the single-season assist record at Davidson College. She was voted to the All-SoCon Team in 2006 and also received multiple SoCon Player of the Week awards from 2004 to 2006.

Jenna attended Marymount High School in Los Angeles, where she was a three-time state champion. In her California days, she also had many successes as a beach volleyball player. She won the gold medal in the Under-21 Junior Olympic Beach Volleyball Championships…TWICE!

Jenna was the interim assistant coach for Davidson College under Gretchen Krumdieck in 2010. She also coached club volleyball for Cari Klein at Sunshine Volleyball in Los Angeles. Jenna is the current JV Volleyball Coach for Community School of Davidson. When she is not in the gym with her volleyball girls, she is a busy mom of 4 and a beloved 5th grade teacher at Community School of Davidson. The Waves are thrilled to have Jenna leading our inaugural team!
